Sasol Welding Centre
This welding centre will encourage and educate young, local individuals to learn how to weld and use their newly-acquired skills in the workplace.
“Welding is the fabrication or sculptural process that joins materials by using high heat to melt the parts together and allowing them to cool, causing fusion.”
The Sasol Welding Centre is nearing its completion date, on our last visit to the site we saw the room divisions are in place and the electrics were being installed.
After the fabrication period for The Sasol Welding Centre, which took place in our factory – located in Kliprivier, South of Johannesburg. The steel items were transported to the site and we spent the next couple of days erecting and building the structure.
